10Gbps, but no ECC, of course.
It's almost like... we should all have been using ECC RAM in everything, period.

When you take your time to clean everything properly before you start, it makes insertion feel much smoother, especially without all the brown, crusty things clinging to the sides.
You can argue that the resulting liquid tastes better, too!

https://kotaku.com/game-boy-creator-explains-why-he-left-nintendo-1825818754 mentions at the end that Gunpei Yokoi's time post-Nintendo was cut short when he was killed in a tragic traffic accident back in '97.
One of the comments reads along the lines of: "Oof, the ending of that article really came out of nowhere. :|"
My first thought: '...so did the car that killed him.'
I bought a t-shirt yesterday saying "Dance like no one is watching, encrypt like everyone is".
Twitter. You know. It's like Mastodon but centralized.
YouTube. Like PeerTube but centralized.
Facebook. Like Friendi.ca but centralized.
WhatsApp. Like Matrix but centralized.
My timeline is a bizarre medley of technical rambling, cute anime girls, highly diverse discussions about politics, people talking about shows and movies, and discussions of a far more personal nature. And shitposting.
We did it! WE REPLACED TWITTER COMPLETELY.
The well-known free software image editor GIMP now has its own team account on Liberapay: https://liberapay.com/GIMP
This means that you can donate to the project as a whole, then its members will decide how to split the money, whereas previously you had to figure out by yourself who the contributors are and how much to donate to each one.

Near the bottom of the article they mention that 'error correcting code' in DRAM could mitigate this.
Oh, ECC. The thing that we really should be using in *all* DRAM, regardless of application?
The thing that AMD's consumer CPUs have supported for decades, but Intel gates artificially behind Xeons?
Does any phone or GPU have ECC RAM?
Some topics are very sensitive, and remembering to use CW liberally helps protect other people's well-being.
Don't forget to describe and/or transcribe the pictures in your posts! Not everyone can see them, for reasons that go from visual impairment to bad internet connections.
Try searching for hashtags about the topics that interest you, and tag your posts as well so others can find them! You'd be surprised how many great relationships start with random hashtag searches :)
Remember: your posts don't need to be on the public timelines by default. If you go to the preferences panel and switch your default privacy to unlisted, you'll prevent accidentally spamming the entire federation. :)
Unlisted posts are boostable and visible to anyone who goes on your profile! Unlike public posts, though, they don't show up in hashtag search results, so keep that in mind.
"Stallman: We need a law. Fuck them — there’s no reason we should let them exist if the price is knowing everything about us. Let them disappear. They’re not important — our human rights are important. No company is so important that its existence justifies setting up a police state. And a police state is what we’re heading toward."
