Also, after searching off and on locally for *months*, I finally caved and ordered some Kala Namak online that got here yesterday. (Himalayan black salt with a high sulfur content)
I did up a little ramekin of stuff with the intent of making a tofu scramble. Added water to hydrate the garlic powder and *holy heck* that salt is *strong*. Almost rotten egg smell.
Then I found out all our tofu from the back of the fridge was *way* expired, so that sauce went in tupperware. Yikes.
