Like, I'm dealing with a system that likes to spontaneously segfault and coredump in the middle of processing, because the size of the stuff they're feeding through it is insane.
At least if it does it in the new version, we could call the vendor and get *them* to fix it? But my hands are tied - if it coredumps inside vendor code, and the vendor explicitly doesn't support our near-decade-old version... and our licensing includes the newest, latest one that I have ready to go? Ugh.
