citizenship, passports, etc.
So: Bad news is, because Bean didn't claim Danish citizenship through her mom before the age of 22 (which also meant living there for a year!), she's lost that one.
Weird sudden realisation on my own claim to UK citizenship through my parents, however - I just remembered that when I was really young, I didn't have my own passport; I was on my mom's, and we travelled a bunch.
I'm already 'in the system' as being British by descent, as it were.
citizenship, passports, etc. ; death ment
Would I ever get to use a British passport in a situation where it'd be 'better' than my existing Canadian one?
Probably not. But 10 years is a long time, and I should probably get on it while both my parents are still around and able to help. One thing that's becoming apparent, watching my friends losing their parents one by one over the past few years, is that shit gets a lot harder when you're left behind.
citizenship, passports, etc. , post-Brexit (+)
So hey, getting my UK passport might be worth it after all. Iceland and/or Norway. :O
